#maythefourthbewithyou I finally emptied my storage unit. The Screamin’ Products Darth Vader model was in pieces in a box. I sculpted the original, this is one of the vinyl kits I was given that I painted and put together years ago. Over the last few weeks, while she was traveling, I removed a chain link fence, built a stockade fence and put down two tons of soil and sod in my daughter’s Baltimore back yard.

I’m going through a storage unit I started renting over a decade ago, saving the good stuff and trashing the garbage. I found a box of old sketchbooks from many projects. I usually have at least one Irish breakfast per year, not necessarily on March 17th. Since I could not go to a pub (there are great Irish pubs in Annapolis and Baltimore) I made my own. I mail ordered the black pudding and white sausages, fried some tomatoes and mushrooms and, of course, over easy eggs. I could not get proper rashers of bacon, Canadian is the closest equivalent. A pint of Guinness and a bit of Irish whiskey and everything is perfect. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
