This holiday season I’ve been haunted by the ghosts of picture books yet to come. 2021 has been a long, difficult year for everyone. I’ve had ups and downs both personally and professionally but the one thing I’ve really neglected are the picture books ideas that have been running around my brain for years. In the past I’d be working on the early stages of a new book while finishing up another one, getting it ready to be sent to my publisher. My 2 new books came out in November and I have nothing currently in the pipeline.
Consider buying “P is for Puffin”. I am donating all my author royalties to @wildnetorg to help protect endangered species worldwide. All of the money they collect goes directly to conservationists working to protect different species, from animals everyone knows, such as elephants, to lesser known ones such as pangolins and okapis.
